It's difficult isn't it - I'm from Amesbury, and people there have been having a good time at the Stones since way before Wally Hope and the free festival. There are pictures dating back to the 50's and beyond of people sitting on top of the stones, partying etc. They do belong to all of us and we should be able to use them. Having said that, I would happily shoot people who leave litter!
You could probably make 40 drug arrests in Amesbury on any night of the week. =;o)
