No, I don't think they (out of hours visits) should be stopped because they're comprised of very small numbers of paying vistors genuinely interested in the monument and with a supervisor present. To compare that with 20,000 (variable) visitors at solstice is nonsense.

Your assertion is unproven, and presumably not one that EH agree with since they continue to allow access.


My assertion is unproven - so is yours that, "...that there'll be enough people climbing on lintels to bring the monument down..."
