Hi Angie, thats my idea as well, put the 'audience' outside the circle and the 'actors' inside, it becomes more of an event and a celebration.

Yes, that sounds a more deliverable solution than the others - and it focuses on the real problem - not numbers of people but numbers of people inside the circle.

The Round Table attendees recognise that's the real problem as they were talking of increasing the size of the braziers to draw people out of the circle (they couldn't do it this year but will next). Your proposals are a sort of extension of that so might fall on fertile ground.

As for the litter not being a big problem, of course it is, it's totally disgusting and shocks people around the world, a manifestation of Yob Britain at it's very worst.
