Doubt it old bean, their procrastination over the consolation of Silbury nearly caused its collapse. And while EH fiddled with it they were still suggesting the insertion of a time capsule inside the monument. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions on whether EH are capable of doing anything right (let alone immediately stopping anything that might pose a hazard to monuments under their jurisdiction).

Silbury Hill was quite a peculiar case all of its own (not that I'm justifying the inaction of EH, which was appalling). I don't draw from that fiasco an inference that they'd be happy to stand by and watch a few thousand revellers topple their biggest money spinner.
