Ha! Another good idea Mr t!

It's a little known fact that there's a replica of the Bayeaux Tapestry in Reading Museum (think it's in Reading Museum) done by a group of Victorian ladies. It's supposed to be pretty accurate but has all the naughty bits missing :-) Don't the Lascaux caves have a replica cave you can wander round? There's also the Takamatsuzuka Kofun in Japan but I can't remember if that was dismantled and reassembled in a controlled environment or left where it is and a replica made.

Mind you, virtual tours are the next thing - in 3D! How about a virtual Summer Solstice at Stonehenge. You could even have a choice of options - Alone at Stonehenge, Stonehenge with the Druids or, for those who like the solstice 'celebration' as it is, Litterhenge with Acrobats ;-)
