There'll be lost hill figures, of course, from the Bronze Age knocking about. I s'pose the best place to start looking would be on hills with horsey names. Grey Nag is my candidate and I've found something interesting up there. I've not looked at it from 'the other side' and my single photograph (unscanned) is not convincing.
