And to me, that's part of the problem. As I've said elsewhere on this thread:

"The word 'sacred' implies religious devotion or function. I do know that most dictionaries include a usage of the word which is not religious; however, I see that as sloppy use of the word, devaluing its true intent."

Because some people use 'sacred' outside of a religious context, they undermine its true meaning.
