Whilst I see what you are getting at, in my opinion, it is our "guesses" that inspire the public value these ancient sites. Just look at Thornborough - for years archaeologists sat on the fence and the site was left there too. Now that they are confirmed as henges, the public can hange a label on them and value them.

No label - no value, no value - no site in a few years time.
