So the reason why we don't have a 'dodgy site area' - is that just because we don't need one? or is there an element of apathy, and it actually would be a good thing. I don't really know.

And about the wells. I suppose TMA is a bit fuzzy around the edges. And I don't think that's a bad thing, because that's what makes it what it is and not a Very Serious thing (oh it's a serious thing, I don't dispute). you can't deny some wells (like rivers and impressive hills and crags) are close to prehistoric sites. So you can only (bar actual finds) 'infer' their importance. Maybe sometimes that's convincing enough, maybe sometimes it isn't relevant at all...

so perhaps this place is self-policing enough? as people already pick up on dodgy sites. But I suppose it all depends whether posters admit they are dodgy.
