Chomping mushrooms in the hills around Abbotsbury as an adolescent and stumbling across the Hellstone did it for me!
(I no longer condone that sort of behaviour, of course)

Got interested in Julian Cope through his books rather than his music. Back in the day I used to look on him as the perfect hippy, with just enough punk to stop him disappearing up his own bottom! ;-)
