I grew up in Youlgrave, a village half way between Stanton Moor and Arbor Low... so, I guess, megaliths were always there (if only as a backdrop - particularly the Nine Ladies - for happy weekends getting wasted!). Interest developed as we started to spend lots of holidays in north Wales - me and the other half's first 'lith together was Bryn Celli Ddu in Anglesey.

Can't remember when I got TMA, but I know it was for my birthday, from my mum, probably my 28th. The first time we 'used' it was on a trip to North Pembs.

Incidentally, the first time I heard Copey was at the Nine Ladies on my 20th birthday, back in 1992!
