Like many others here it seemed to start with Stonehenge. Way back last century, the family holiday drive from London to Devon was always broken there so I could run around the stones.
Lots of my working life living in central London doing various jobs in the film industry(Stunt driving,cameraman,running porn cinemas!), which seems to have given me a lasting interest in the unusual, the esoteric, the outre and the downright daft.
Fairly eclectic library, lots of history from fossils to King Tut to Janet and Colin Bord's books.
Changed career, went back to college to study Landscape Gardening and met up with old friends nearby who were into Morris Dancing. (I know.."Some of my best friends...") One night they said that they were going to W. Ken with some witches for Halloween did I want to come? I'd heard of Avebury but not W.Ken. It was a complete eye opener as I thought that up to then I had seen and done most things. I LOVED it! Been back most Equinoxes and Solstices since.
Got my first PC in Feb 2002 and idly searched "Alt Arch" and got TMA and have been absolutely staggered ever since.
Awful confession to make...I'd never heard of Julian, my musical tastes lie elsewhere, and still haven't heard any of his music! (Mea Culpa)
