Just to clear the air and explain what we have to gain from geocaching and the Geocaching.com website.

Firstly, we do not own the website.

Secondly, we earn not a single penny from it.

Thirdly, we were elected to the position by a vote in the UK forum.

Fourthly, besides spending time helping to keep things running smoothly, doing our level best to ensure that Geocaching does not offend, we also still voluntarialy pay our $30 per year to make use of the extended features.

The cost of running the website for thousands of members has to be funded somehow.

I guess if you believe the posting made on behalf of a competing website, you're going to get the facts wrong. Now you all know that there is another geocaching website to "have a go" at.
