Before I continue, let me say this: I find it difficult to take any person's comment seriously if they feel the need to defend themselves through insulting remarks.

I've already said I would leave once, and just use the site, rather than post in the forums. But when I did, I looked back, and found someone else had posted a rash, ill-informed judgement about the sport, or has said something insulting, like your comment.

Off topic? That's as maybe, but it's been brought up now, and if you're going to make a snap judgement, perhaps it's only fair that someone should be given the opportunity to defend it.

As I said before, I find the site useful - there's a lot of common ground between Mod Ant and GC. I believe, that if people were to understand - not necessarily support - Geocaching, there is no reason why both activities could coexist quite happily.
