I'm more sceptical with the beakers until more research is done, opinion has fluctuated so much in the past regarding their origins, let's hope more beaker sites everywhere are found and studied then. Unfortunately, all very well in the central European plains, but further to the southwest, in places where there are beaker burials, human remains are not preserved as the soils are too acid. Very exciting all of this beaker stuff, it might indeed be Proto-IE or related in the end and then I'd be happy forever after! As for the c word, I prefer not to get into that yet and will carry on using the k instead.

It's good that this has been brought up (and I haven't missed it), anyway.
