Thanks for posting that link, very interesting. He refers to a Beaker "package", which is where I thought current thinking was at, i.e. some movement of people, ideas and goods. But he seems to indicate that the Beaker people were longer-lived and healthier, which would presumably mean that although there wasn't any kind of mass migration as such, their genes were more likely to be passed on.
