Baku's rosette it was, yes! I keep talking to folks whose names I quickly forget (or don't know) when I pop in here. In any case, everyone here shares similar feelings and passions when out there in the open so it's great to ocasionally visit here and feel I'm not the only lunatic.

Respect to a Scottish heavyweight then! Feel privileged to carry on discovering even more art in such amazing landscapes. After all, rock art is just intensely life-affirming for the visitor.

* my initial (immense) disappointment when I first got hold of the book was that some, hell! no - ALL of the tiny beautiful pictures should have been in colour. It just doesn't do the sites any justice! But I like Beckensall's no-BS style, so I forgive the editors...
