If we’re ever going to get off our (probably) unsustainable reliance on conventional Western foodstuffs we’re going to have to start trying the alternatives.

true LS but at the time ,less so now ,I was used to growing a lot of the veggie grub for the house ,even the cheap easily found stuff like organic tatties are still better straight from the garden .My son , brought up a veggie , loved his seaweed , he wouldn't look at it now though .
