There is a water-based-cure-continuation thing that goes to bullauns (often by wells or streams), but they mainly cure warts.

Someone once told me of a story of a chat to a farmer:

Farmer: That stone cures warts

Chris: A lot of them are said to do that. It's quite common.

Farmer: What, genital warts?

Chris: .... flabbergasted!

This bullaun is thought to cure genital warts! Now there's a queue that you wouldn't want to be at the back of!
