I'm not here to get into any back-and-forth bickering. In fact I agree with your comment. However, just because some big petro-chemical company didn't think about the effect of dumping loads of shite into a river it doesn't mean that we should make the same mistake.

i.e. just because someone else has done something wrong, it doesn't mean it's ok for someone else to knowingly compound it.
