You never change do you Nigel?
no matter what name you use.
I thought you were all for responsible detecting.
You have had one agenda, throughout your lies
and that's for banning detecting end of.
Your problem is saying one thing to your peers, and another to others.
Your secret has been out for a while now.

Hello kevmar,

The change of stance of Heritage Action on Metal Detecting comes as a result of your hobby's patent disregard for the PAS or anything approaching archaeological best practice. HA have moved to our position of calling for licencing the hobby after years of trying to engage MD'ers in responsible and accountable practice, only to be met with indifference from your community and pointless trolling of the HA Forum. Personally, I don't think we've gone far enough; Nigel and others have always maintained a reasonable and fair-minded approach to your hobby. I'm not so tolerant; if I had my way, we wouldn't be asking for licencing now - we'd have called to ban the hobby two years ago.

The PAS is a very successful recording vehicle,
ask any FLO,they are snowed under with finds
waiting to be put through the system.

the ''The change of stance '' as you put it,
or moved goal posts as I would put it,
is basically your lot not liking egg on the face,
you must have hoped the PAS would flop,
but it hasn't it's grown,
so what do you do?
change your minds.
How very professional of you I must say.
