When did humans start using levers eh? I like this question. Mrs Hob (who ain't here to ask right now) would probably say something like "Find out at what age chidren start to use things as levers. the earlier in childhood this behaviour is displayed, the more likely it is to be the result of hardwiring in the brain." This is assuming that behavioural survival traits get more ingrained into human development the longer they've been around. A very rough rule of thumb, but you get the idea. It's just as likely it could be the result of imitation of adults using levers, but you see offspring imitating parents way back down the evolutionary tree. Do chimps use levers?
