I've been following this thread with interest because 'wildness' is still all around us if we were thrown into it and confined in it and possessed only what Early Neolithic man had at their disposal. In my area alone I have Bodmin Moor on one side of me and Dartmoor on the other. Lock me onto either one with nothing more than our great ancestors had and it would be as wild to me now as it was to them. I think I'd be too busy trying to stay alive than worry about building stone circles, dolmens and the likes and even caring where the sun rose or set as long as it came up :-)
