OK, I have no (particular) problem in not regarding circles as intentionally circles, but as an arrangement that happens to be roughly circular (is that right?).

I'm quite happy to leave aside doubts I have about them radiating anything - I am also happy to accept (as most of us here are) that dowsing picks 'something' up, tho I'd like to leave wht it is & its significance aside for the mo.

But what I'm trying to establish is whether you're saying there's some kind of common measurement involved in the distribution and/or size of the tangible (stones/earthworks etc) elements of ancient sites. Could you please clarify that bit for me?
