Hi Cropredy, judging by what Fitz and others say, there are zillions of unknown sites still to be found. Rather than spending your time tracing the lines between known sites why not find the unknown ones? That would be a real service to the public and you wouldn't have to fight to be believed.

You've only mentioned one site but haven't made it clear if it's "unknown". Is it? And why so coy about it? Surely you can email it's location to a couple of people here without getting the owner's permission? If it's a known archaeological site you'll be revealing nothing, and if it's an unknown archaeological site it ought to be officially reported.
