That's the biggest mystery of all. Thousands of years ago people are said to have had an ability that was amazingly powerful and useful, and they placed stones accordingly - and then humanity "forgot" about it. Why?

I guess the stock answer would be "because we've lost our innocence and science has closed our minds" but then, why have even present-day primitive tribes "forgotten"?
