Re: Offerings at stones

La'lstone,
Greetings once again. I have to admit you've expose my own selfishness - to want a place to be "unspoilt" for me to enjoy, as well as others. The problem is that once someone leaves an innocuous offering, then it's followed by other offerings that push the limits of acceptability, in terms of permanance. What is to stop someone building a non-permanent cairn in the middle of a stone circle, with a relatives cremated remains within? Where do the limits lie? Flowers? Candles? Urns? Cairns? Cremations? People always tend to go that bit further.
Regards,
TE.
