I have to disagree. Getting pissed about crappy offerings is only natural. When you make the effort to go and visit a piece of your heritage, the last thing you want is to find it's become a junkyard.

Around Avebury all sorts of folk visit the sites. A lot of them are 'just tourists' and have little knowledge of the sites they are visiting or the probelms such offerings cause. Consequently they think it's ok to leave crap lying around and perpetuate it at other sites.

Take only photos and leave only footprints*!






*Feel free to take some rubbish home too
