That's a famous saying by the great American pioneer of the "wilderness experience", and writer John Muir. It's a great motto for life though.
I couldn't agree with what you say more. Why spoil the experience for others by our own selfishness? Unfortunately Humankind is becoming more selfish by the hour, with trivia like the latest mobile phone (cough, spit) taking precedent over the wellbeing towards mankind. The virus has to be cured before the fever will abate.

Aye, and if we all did the whole of Britain would be a far better place, and for so little effort. Mind you, we could be texting (puke) instead. I'm with you all the way.
