Devereux (1994) "The New Ley Hunters Guide" is excellent in understanding the origins of TDP and Watkin's "Ley Line" system ("Old Straight Track" 1920's). Michell (1983) "View Over Atlantis" is good too.

I definitely recommend www.bordbooks.com for further reading and guidance from Janet and Chris Bord - who also discuss earth mysteries (inc ley lines, lung mei and feng shui)

Basic info on the 1977 initial project. Geomancers of Ancient China. Earth energy. St Michael Shrines... basic lines of perpendicular origins... argued to be a mapping system for both prehistorical man and aliens?!

My opinion is "nah" :o) but for my dissertation it's "ok maybe there is something there"
