Actually, some time ago, a mad friend of Mrs G told us about what she called her "energy ball" and told us how to find ours, which is pretty much identical to what you were talking about. It's good to hear of other people talking about it!

I think it was described less like clapping as shaping an invisible ball between your hands... Or summat. The old memory's not wot it woz... ;o)
