Maybe not. But in fairness, the point he is surely trying to make is that, in his eyes, the abuse of animals is as bad as the abuse of children. Now people may or not agree with him on that matter, but just because one (not you!) doesn't agree doesn't make Morrissey a wanker. IMO.


If put to the sword I would have to agree with him on that in pure moral terms when divorced from practical reality of living a life. The problem is that he makes it about him and his adversarial relationship with the rest of humanity. It's a win for an attention seeker, a lose for anyone with a genuine desire for a change of attitude or generally wanting to educate people.
