Which makes me want to point out:
These discussions are invariably billed as prisoners of science having their eyes opened by those who can step beyond science. But it's also the case that the reverse can happen, and has here, if you're prepared to be honest. Personal fact may be "yours" but it's no more use than a chocolate teapot to the rest of the world. Have you noticed, over yonder, people go on about their personal perceptions and none of the others take any notice?!
