Agreed. To take one example, the Flat-Earthers no doubt believe that the world is flat, so to them that would appear to be (to use the language of this discussion) a "personal fact". Where they run into difficulty isn't in having this belief, it's their assertion to other people ("round earthers") that this belief is factual.


If you experience something tangible, real, physical, outside of what you are used to experiencing, is it factual, or do you have to go running off to your safe scientific comfort zone ?
