Actually, that's a good example. Respect by results. Whether it's by luck or judgement doesn't matter. Maybe it's hard wired into us as a survival advantage to follow the bloke that actually delivers not the one who says he can. Jesus knew that, miracles trump chat...


I would love to know what it was that convinced people to spend their short life digging out chalk ditches and dragging large stones.

Then again, what is it convincing me to get up too early and sit behind a desk all day? The answer to that I suppose is my own future welfare.
