Don't apologise Rhiannon, Mr Bladup has gone on about my age at least six times previously so you were quite right to ask him to desist.

FYI he's no spring chicken, 38, so I don't know where he gets his concerns about age. (I'm just a lad really, 11 years older than Julian, and still have a couple of brain cells.)

He also worries I'm too old and tweedy and schoolmasterish for this place, but it's dangerous to assume stuff about people. I share a pub with Robert Plant who happens to live by me (he's 2 years younger) and he doesn't regard me as tweedy!

I was going to say that i'm not that bloody young myself, we just have a different sense of humour, i mean i really laughed when i just read what i've said, if you can't make yourself laugh, who else will you make laugh as well, i've truly never meant anything nasty in what i've said, it's just all taken a bit to seriously if you ask me, i mean like now telling people what to do, is that not schoolteachery? come on think about it.
