Yea, what the heck, but it's possibly not a million miles from the truth and I just get sick of him hijacking one scientific principle after another (not to mention forum threads) with little understanding, in an attempt to bring some credence to his ideas.

I've told him that I'm willing to help with proper scientific investigations of his claims and have suggested ways in which they might be achieved, but it's like nailing jello to the wall (as the Americans would say). As soon as someone suggests a way in which one of his claims could actually be verified in an objective manner, he flits on to some other pseudo-scientific fantasy.
