I would honestly like you to elaborate on that. I am not entirely sure I have got the point and I am interested. I am between both positions. Although I dont believe in large scale calendars to determine the right time to farm, I do not rule out the possibility of the farmer's common sense being constrained by some fixed dates, and if divinities come into being, then things get even more regulated (like not eating certain things at certain times of the year or during the full moon). Lunar positions are hard to determine, therefore that knowledge would only have been in the hands of a few.
