That's what I was saying . Or at least I have never seen any .
As for the pic Peter ,it does seem odd that most pics don't have the damp area , obviously because the elements would soon clean/dry it , and it would take a lot of sweaty hands to create that amount of moisture. Some stones that are touched a lot e.g. the sides of the Blarney Stone have a patina but are rarely damp from sweat . Is it not possible it was water seeing that it is common practice for RA peeps ?
