I can't deny any of that, except the bit about Moth being right, which is just a little private hang-up I have.
In a desperate attempt to salvage some dignity I've constructed a model of Silbury using a CD and a light and can report that the shadow still looks more pointed than it should due to the tree. A small consolation, but at least it's something.
