If you use that to draw your circles and also to fix the positions of others and the spacings between them, suddenly you're illustrating all the observations of classical geometry - including pi and tangents and arcs and equilateral triangles. They just come, and can be observed.

Steve - I've already been driven to threaten to make an inexplicable crop circle in the field adjacent to WKLB next summer. Maybe that could be a Stonehengineers sub-project when we're in Wilts in June?!
