BlueGloves, haven't you heard of Occam's Razor? It's along the lines that the simplest explanation involving the least number of new assumptions is the best one to go for. Like you I like to believe there's more in heaven etc, but sometimes one has to be more objective.

(And also, I'd be wary about saying things like "I excavated a little stone trough that was part of a small stone circle... and I now own it." One either has to be charitable and assume this circle was properly excavated first and any possible archaeological data was collected for the benefit of everyone else, or else you sound like a vandal.)
