I felt kinda selfish doing it initially (going away that is) but my missus actually made me go away as I was getting waaaay too stressed over stuff going on in our lives, bless her!. Place I stayed at was only £148 for 7 days, all electric, hot water. TV, internet, bedding etc included. Bargains!
With us, holidays are always a family thang, but, oh, the peace and tranquillity, the doing shit for yourself, when you wanna do it, no debates or discussions etc.... blissssss. Kinda felt like a bachelor again. Though I did miss em' a bit (really it was wanting them to be there sharing the experiences) but, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It was soooo restful. Still buzzing from all the exercise tbh. Feel like my batteries have been charged better than they have for years.

Took all this music and books etc to wind-down with. Hardly touched any of it
except for what I mentioned in the thread.

Hope you had half the fun I had Spence.
