Hooker's It Serves You Right To Suffer is a fine album if you haven't heard it. Sparse, late night, confiding and deep. Haven't played it for a long time, really should. Likewise what I used to play alongside it sometimes, Taj Mahal's Oooh So Good 'n Blues. Imo his early '70's stuff should be better known (Yup, I need a turntable too)
