Funny, Eagles jumped to the front of my mind too (though I tend to agree with everything in the original post, especially the Stones.)

The only Eagles song I can stand is also "One Of These Nights" . . . because it sounds like a Bee Gees knockoff!

Otherwise their "yacht rock" isn't even very good as yacht rock -- lame CSNY ripoffs that make Kenny Loggins sound exciting.

Would also nominate Eric Clapton (who can even ruin a Beatles track just by playing guitar on it), and REM (ever since Mumbles decided he should be the American Bono.)
