You know, radiohead have never ever said they didn't knick ideas from others...as a matter of fact they freely admit in interviews to stealing bits of eno, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman and on and on...other, less successful bands do it and it's not big deal, they are lauded as 'brilliantly taking old influences and filtering them through their own sound to make something utterly compelliing" or some such shit...The only reason people don't like Radiohead and analyze them and criticize them so hard is because they are successful...they are given so much vitriol by you music fans because, like kids at school who argue over whose lunch pail is 'cooler', you think that RH's success somehow takes away from whatever obscure band YOU think should be getting that success and attention!! Fucking grow up!!!
