I think you are fair Mustard and I've never noticed you resort to personal name calling - though it does go on, either directly or indirectly..

It's difficult to discuss, without referring to particular individuals and incidents.

Personally speaking, I have no problem at all with reference to myself in this respect. In fact I think that would be far more helpful than a 'hush approach' which has implications that are not fair. As I see it, any altercations that have taken part on relevant threads are far from black and white. If you're including participants on both sides of them I'm perfectly happy, as I am to agree that there is a grey area here, and tit for tat on both sides did happen at times, and I admit my part in that. No problem. Yes, I may be too quick to shoot from the hip at times, but veiled baiting re. some comments is not my style either. It's interesting that some casual observers have picked up on the whole business, isn't it ? A case in point would be a thread started by one contributor to make a criticism about another which was then intentionally locked giving the recipient no chance of redress. That to me seemed provocative and rather childish. I honestly think that if anyone who read the threads concerned in their entirety would come to the same conclusion. A case of overall mutual Mea Culpa would be a far better idea, and then we could all agree to move on positively together.
