I think you are fair Mustard and I've never noticed you resort to personal name calling - though it does go on, either directly or indirectly. I can see why many people choose to read and not contribute. I always hesitate now, wondering if what I am about to ask or say is 'ill conceived'. It would be nice to see more women contribute with subjects like mythology discussed as was once the case. There is a place for 'footie' banter here of course but on a certain other thread I so much wanted to ask "Is Avebury the only stone circle inside a ditch and bank - with four entrances" but suspect this question is naive or ill-conceived and would be duly ignored.
