Back on topic at last!
I am only a wells newbie but have very much enjoyed the two I have visited, St Seiriol's at Penmon Priory and Llangelynin Old Church up on the start of the Tal y Fan ridge. Sittng on those simple stone benches next to the well, contemplating the world (and your navel maybe) - absolute bloody heaven.
But that's just a personal view. As for wells on TMA I would vote no and think that TMA should stay strictly pre-Roman and archive all sites post 43AD. Or 77AD for North Wales as we resisted these horrid people a bit longer.
There are many excellent sites out there that provide for wellies. If there is a need and demand for a more modern TMA style community driven website with foto uploads, fieldnotes, folklore, fractious forum etc. for wells then that's a challenge for the well community. I'd sign up to such a site for sure.
