That's what Devereux's "Dragon Project" was about. Sadly the archaeologists were too busy with other ideas - mainly thinking such a venture was worthless & damned it as such. When the electromagnetic background at some sites was found to differ from that around it, we had a basis for explaining the nature of transpersonal events at sites - i.e., alterations in background radiation effecting our neurochemistry gives rise to altered states of consciousness. Common sense once the info's gathered. It certainly validates otherwise 'crazy' experiences...
